Academic Transfer

The Transition to UNL

Welcome from the Transfer Coordinator

Welcome to the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. As a transfer student you have already been successful at another institution. This information will help you transition to a new university, a new environment and a new campus culture.

The links below have been recommended by current transfer students to help you know where to find the information, services and resources you need to succeed. For additional assistance please contact me. I want you to have a great experience as you continue your education at UNL.

Best regards,

JoAnn Moseman

Resources for Nontraditional Students

At UNL nontraditional students define themselves. Some are older than the typical college student, while others consider themselves nontraditional because they have significant responsibilities for family, work, or community that compete with education for their time and resources. While many transfer and nontraditional students live off campus, you are especially encouraged to find your personal connection to the campus.
